Tonia Papapetrou

SCROLL DOWN

Tonia Papapetrou

I am Tonia Papapetrou, an Edinburgh-based Cypriot artist. My work is primarily sculptural, drawing inspiration from literary and mythological imagery to address the perennial issue of miscommunication within the gamut of interpersonal and social relationships. I express my ideas through variations of the human form, using a variety of different materials and techniques, including painting, video art and installation, according to which best suit the practical and conceptual requirements of each work.
